If you have been following this series, you would realize that we already discussed what authority niche blogging is. Today, I want to talk about what authority niche blogging is not. You may call it a reality 101 class, but at some point in time, I believe we have to be truthful to ourselves.
So,what are the tips to be considered?
* Authority niche blogging is not a get rich quick scheme. In my post announcing the re-launch of this blog,I did tell you about Lisa Parmley, a mentor of mine who started a network of sites and worked consistently on them for 18 months before hitting her $15,000 monthly adsense income goal. Authority niche blogging is highly profitable but it doesn’t bring in money overnight. The profit comes with your consistency, resilience and hard work.
* Authority niche blogging is not about building a site and plastering it with private label right (plr) content. Plr content is not original content so you canit use it on your site and claim it’s an authority site. An authority site must always have unique content. I know posting fresh content now and again is kind of a hassle but it’s a must if you want to build an authority blog.
* Authority niche blogging is not building a site and using an auto content poster to post all sorts to it. If you have ever seen an advert with the title: ‘Make Money without Lifting a Finger’, you’ll understand what I’m talking about. Such content posters can get content, post it for you, automate your article marketing and all sorts. Just set and go to sleep. I’m afraid that is not authority niche blogging. Authority niche sites have less automation. And with Google now weeding out such sites, your site will be nowhere to be found in the search engines. And this means, less traffic and less traffic means, less money.
* Authority niche blogging is not building a site and posting content only when you feel like it. For God’s sake, the blogging business model is a serious business model online and must be approached with all the seriousness it deserves. Consistency in posting is a must because your site must have many articles. These articles will serve as a bait to bring people to your site. Solid content is really vital to building an authority site. Without it, your site is nothing.
* Authority niche blogging is not posting 10 articles on your blog and expecting to make a high income. Authority sites have hundreds,if not thousands of articles. In my post announcing the re-launch of this blog,I did tell you about John ‘X Factor who has a 2200 page health website. Can you imagine that? Over 2000 articles, but he wrote them over time.
* Authority niche blogging is not about paying someone to create a site for you and make money with it. Most of us have had our fingers burnt this way. Like I always say, if you don’t yet have time for Internet Business, please don’t go into it. Wait till the time is there. Paying people to do some of these things for us has got many people banned from the adsense program and this is enough to kill peoples’ zeal.
I have got so much to say but let me quickly add that authority niche blogging is not for lazy people. Neither is it for people who want to get rich overnight. It’s only for disciplined and committed people who know they have to give value (a site that helps people solve problems by providing accurate and useful information) to get value (money).
